Papillon is a 60ft catamaran manufactured by Fountaine Pajot of La Rochelle, France. The boat is the Model Eleuthera S/N 24, owners version. The name PAPILLON is embossed on the bows of each hull in the distinctive script of Henri Charriere’s famous Novel of the same name. A large butterfly is embossed on one of the vessel’s gennakers.
White in color with sandy brown sail covers, with the web site aeroyacht.com also embossed on the mainsail cover. This being the site of Gregor Tarjan a world authority and designer of multihulls.
Although a production catamaran, the owners have added an aft solid bimini hardtop which provides additional useable space and protection from the elements.
